ACCOMMODATIONS: Hotels are based on double occupancy. Single supplement is indicated on the itineraries. On occasions when accommodations must be assigned on a share basis due to insufficiency of single rooms, an appropriate refund will be made after returning to the U.S. Triple rooms are on request and subject to availability. Hotels are subject to change; preferred accommodations subject to change to similar class accommodations. Cruise accommodations are based on double occupancy of twin-bedded stateroom with private bath. Triple occupancy in cabins is only available in Deluxe or Shangri-La suites. All Yangtze River cruise ships are of People’s Republic of China registry. Tour accommodations are subject to availability at time of booking.
MEALS: Meals are included, as specified in the itineraries.
TOURS: Due to occasional flight delays, weather conditions or other unforeseen situations, it may not be possible to include some sightseeing tours as scheduled. Cultural and acrobatic shows and other performances may not be available during holidays and seasonal recess in China. If it becomes necessary to change the means of transportation or any other service, or for the tour to be prolonged due to circumstances beyond the control of the ground operator, any additional tour cost must be borne by the passenger and is payable immediately. Due to weather, varying water levels on the Yangtze River or maintenance at the Three Gorges Dam, Yangtze River cruise routes and shore excursions are subject to possible change. ESCORTED TOURS: For all tours, we reserve the right to alter arrangements to better accommodate a group, or to cancel the tour. Tours will be locally guided throughout and we reserve the right to alter arrangements to best accommodate a group, or to cancel the tour. Optional sightseeing tours offered are locally guided with a minimum of 2 passengers. We reserve the right to alter arrangements, or to cancel the tour if we have less than the minimum number of participants.
NOTE: 1) Please note that we reserve the right to cancel any tour with less than the minimum number of passengers.
2) Participants on locally guided tours will be transferred in each city, but will not be accompanied on flights between cities. When travel between cities is by motor coach, a guide will travel with the group. 3) Unless specified, initial arrival and final departure transfers are included when you purchase transpacific air from China Experience.
TRAVEL DOCUMENTS: Passengers traveling to China: U.S. passports with a six month validity AFTER the date of return are required for all tour participants. Passports must have four (4) blank pages, excluding pages 22, 23 & 24 which are not accepted as visa pages. Upon request, China Experience will secure the visa for entry into the People’s Republic of China for a nominal fee (see #3 "China Visas" under Terms & Conditions below). All applications must be forwarded to the Chinese Consulate for their approval. China Experience cannot guarantee the acceptance of your visa application. If for any reason your application is denied, a full refund will be made on any payment. It is the responsibility of all non-U.S. citizens to check visa and health requirements with appropriate consulates, in addition to your travel agent, and to have the correct documentation prepared for travel outside of the U.S.

HEALTH: In general, tours are quite active and require a good deal of walking, frequently including stairs. We strongly recommend that you discuss any health concerns regarding these points with your personal physician. Additional Assistance: In order to ensure the smooth operation of the tour for all group members, any traveler requiring special assistance must be accompanied by an adult who is responsible for providing all such assistance. China Experience is under no obligation whatsoever to provide any special assistance. You are required to notify China Experience, in writing, prior to the time of booking of any physical disability or medical condition which may require any special assistance during the tour. Please note that for the physically challenged, access to some facilities may not
be available at the same required levels which are standard in the U.S. China Experience’s tour directors and their designees reserve the right to exclude passengers from participating in tours if, in their sole discretion, they believe that the tour may be too challenging for the passenger or could detract from the full enjoyment of the other tour participants.
Currently, vaccinations are not required. As health requirements change without notice, please check with your personal physician or public health service for current required or recommended inoculations.

Reservations
1. DEPOSIT: All deposits are non-refundable, Travel Protection Fees and Visa Fees paid to China Experience may be paid by paypal, credit card (MasterCard, Visa, Discover), with signed credit card authorization form, or by check.
Upon receipt of your deposit, written confirmation/invoice and Passenger Information Form will be sent. Receipt of deposit confirms your reservation and is applied toward final payment.

Due to fluctuating airfares and fuel surcharges, China Experience reserves the right to amend your tour price in the event of airline-imposed increases. To guarantee your tour price, you may wish to pay in full at the time of booking. Once issued, airline tickets are no longer subject to increases. Discounted airline tickets are non-refundable and non-transferable and subject to availability. Space is limited.
All prices are per person, based on double occupancy. Air-inclusive prices include fuel surcharges, but do not included up to $120 in government-imposed taxes and fees, including the Sept. 11th security fee, which apply and are additional. Additional baggage charges may apply. All prices subject to change.

2. AIRLINE RESERVATIONS AND PASSENGER NAMES: Passport number, date and place of issue, and birth date is now required by many foreign governments as well as some airlines in order to confirm services. Names on your airline tickets must match the first and last name listed on the passport. It is the responsibility of the travel agent/traveler to verify that the name shown on the invoice exactly matches the traveler’s passport name. A revision fee of $100.00 per person will be charged if name must be changed in our records within 75 days prior to tour departure date; changes are also subject to airline penalties. China Experience is not responsible for any ticket reissue charges or denial of boarding by an airline due to name discrepancy.
Airline schedules and flights are subject to change without notice. It is the passenger's responsibility to know if the airline reserved on their behalf participates in the passenger's frequent flyer program and provide the information to the proper entity.
3. CHINA VISAS: China Experience will be pleased to secure your China visa for a nominal fee. US Passports must have at least a six-month validity AFTER the date of return and should have at least four (4) blank pages for visa stamps, excluding pages 22, 23 & 24 which are not accepted as visa pages. Passports should be sent to our office at least 60 days prior to departure date with completed and signed Visa Application Form, one (1) passport-size (2” x 2”) color photo, and payment by credit card or check. Visa fee is non-refundable once the visa is issued. Visa fees as shown are in effect at time of printing and are subject to change. Please call or visit our website. Travel Protection Insurance is strongly recommended. Pre-existing conditions exclusion is waived when insurance is purchased within fourteen (14) days of deposit. Travel Protection Insurance may be purchased any time before date of departure, but pre-existing conditions exclusion is not applicable if purchased more than fourteen (14) days after deposit is paid. 5. CANCELLATION FEES (All tours): Written notice of cancellation must be received by China Experience either by mail, fax, or e-mail. Oral cancellation by phone will not be accepted.

*Plus any additional charges assessed by land suppliers or airlines, in addition to any revision fees. China Experience reserves the right to issue airline tickets immediately upon receipt of your tour deposit. Airline tickets are non-refundable and non-transferable.
General Booking Conditions
1. FINAL PAYMENT: Air/Land Payment: Due 75 days prior to departure and may be made by check or credit card, with signed authorization form. China Experience, the tour operator, reserves the right to cancel bookings not paid in full by 75 days prior to departure date. China Experience also reserves the right to modify your tour arrangements at any time to accommodate unforeseen circumstances due to high demand for air, cruise and hotel space. You will be notified immediately should this situation arise.
2. LATE FINAL PAYMENT FEE: To ensure smooth tour operation, final payment must be received at least 75 days prior to departure. A $100.00 per person late payment fee will be added to your invoice if final payment is not received by 75 days prior to departure date.
3. RESERVATIONS 74-46 DAYS PRIOR TO DEPARTURE: While booking early ensures the widest choice of availability, we will make every effort to accommodate spontaneous travel plans. Reservations will be taken only with full payment to avoid the late payment fee shown above. Payment by credit card must be accompanied by credit card authorization form. Prices may be subject to change less than 75 days prior to departure.
4. LATE BOOKINGS: For new reservations made within 60 days prior to departure, a $50.00 per person administrative handling fee will be assessed for all tours. Reservations will be taken only with full payment. Late bookings are subject to availability and will incur additional charges assessed by suppliers. China Experience reserves the right to refuse reservations requested less than 30 days prior to departure.
5. REVISIONS: After deposit, a $20.00 per person fee for each revision, including addition or deletion of services, will be assessed for any changes in air and/or land arrangements (plus supplier’s penalties). Once documents/tickets are issued, changes are not permitted. Revision fee is in addition to any rebooking fees.
6. REBOOKING: A change in departure date or from one tour to another after your original reservation has been processed is considered a cancelled trip, and cancellation fees will apply.
Air & Land Information
China Experience will provide air transportation in conjunction with land tours, based on the applicable airfares on participating carriers, subject to the rules and regulations of the class, fare and service of the individual airline. Due to special contracted net agreements, supplements or credits for air deviations may not be equal to published airfare differentials. Domestic carriers provide air transportation in China. Airfares are subject to change and any increase in airfare is not included in the tour fare. Depending on airfare class used, the airfare may be non-refundable and subject to full cancellation penalties. Tour extensions may incur weekend surcharges. China Experience endeavors to follow the itineraries precisely; however, if flights are not available at the scheduled time, we reserve the right to modify the air and land arrangements for smooth operation of the tour.
TRANSFERS: Unless specified, initial arrival and final departure transfers are included when you purchase an air & land tours from China Experience.
If you deviate from the arrival and/or departure dates as stated in the itinerary, you will automatically be billed for the services. China Experience or the transfer company is not responsible for flight delays. Your arrival transfer is guaranteeed for up to one hour from your scheduled arrival time in order to compensate for minor delays.
SIGHTSEEING: Is operated by motor-vehicle, its size depends on number of tour participants. Times are approximate and meant as a guideline. It is your responsibility to arrive on time for all schdueled flights, cruises, and package components. Arriving late may be considered a no-show in which case you will not be refunded for the unsed portion of the services. On some dates holidays, religious observances, national holidays and celebrations at some monuments, and sites may be closed. In this case China Experience will make other arrangements if possible, or altogether cancel the sightseeing scheduled. Sightseeing sequence is subject to change due to traffic or arrival times. Therefore, we reserve the right to adjust the last-minute changes and or subsitute sighseeing tours. Sightseeng tours maybe conducted in more than one language.
OPTIONAL SIGHTSEEING: A limited selection of optional sightseeing tours are offered for purchase at any time up until the final payment due date. Some optional tours require a minimum number of participants and may not be operated, in such a case China Experience will attempt to notify you locally. Optional tours may be conducted in more than one language.
HOTELS: All hotels are standard twin-bed (2 single beds) rooms with private bath, unless you have requested and paid in full for an upgrade. Special requests such as bed type. smoking preference, connecting rooms or any other special requests are subject to availability. Room selection in all cases, unless otherwise specified, is strictly at the discretion of the hotel managment. Triple rooms consist of twin beds and one folding cot. Use of air conditioning abroad differs from that in the United States; air conditions are sometimes controled by one central unit. Preferred accommodations are subject to change to similar accommodations. There will be no refunds based on hotel changes.
CABIN ASSIGMENTS (RIVER CRUISE): Cabin assigments are issued upon arrival on the ship. A special request can be sent in advance and China Experience will do all that is possible to provide the special request. However there is no guarantee. Triple room for 2 parents and a child under the age of 12 is possible in a standard cabin on a parent child share basis. However, 3 adults or children over 12 are not allowed in a standard cabin you must purchase an upgrade to a Deluxe or Shangrila suite or you may purchase two standard cabins. Shore excusions are not included in the cruise package and may be purchased up until the time of final payment due. Due to the popularity of the river cruise, on board purchase of shore excursions may or may not be available.
MEDICAL SERVICES: On board the Yangtze cruise vessel, and in most hotels a Chinese doctor trained in traditional herbal treatment may or may not be available. If immediate medical attetion is required beyond the use of tradtional herbal medicines, local medical facilities will be contacted. Resulting charges will be the responsibiltiy of the passenger. China Experience and the cruise operator are not responsible for the service provided.
HEALTH REQUIRMENTS: Check with your health care provider for any inoculation requirements. Tour participants should carry with them any prescribed or over-the-counter medications, since the same brands and stregths may not be available in China. Individuals with heart disease, chronic illness, physical handicap, advanced pregnancy, or mental illiness should not participate in any type of rigorous travel programs.
WATER LEVELS: River water level may cause part of the cruise itinerary to be operated by motor coach. If necessary, China Experience will provide alternative means of transportation or accommodations. However, no tour will be canceled and no monetary compensation willl be made for those changes. Either China Experience nor vessel operators will be liable for delays or inability to perform due to mechanical failure, lockout, civil or labor issues, vessel breakdown, act of god, riot, war, govenment restraint, acts or threats of terrorism, or other circumstances beyond our or their control.
MEALS: Are as specified in itineraries and are based on set menus; some beverages are included but limited. Although China Experience cannot guarantee special dietary request we will make every effort to accommodate any such request submitted in writing at least 3 days prior to departure to: assist@chinaexperience.com.
SHOPPING: China Experience itineraries include time for shopping, and will bring you to the most reputable shopping areas. However, China Experience will not be held responsible for any purchases made in shops, flea markets, or by street peddlers. As in the United States caution is suggested if your are not certain of the merchandise being sold. For large purchases, it is possible to ship abroad via DHL, UPS, or post office; however, shipping fees will be incured by the purchaser, and shipping times may be longer then the standard in the United States.

DOCUMENTS: Provided full payment is recieved on or before payment due date, final documents will be sent via email 21 days prior to departure date. Paper documents are available and must be requested 14-21 days before depature date. Paper documents will be mailed via priority USPS mail service or other parcel delievery service for a nominal fee of $25.00 per set of documents. This requires a complete street address, PO Boxes will not be accepted.
BAGGAGE: Free allowances, limits, and additional charges for checked and carry-on baggage may apply and vary by airline, frequent flyer status, booking class, destination (e.g., baggage allowance differs for the transpacific and China/Inter-Asia sections of your tour), bag size and weight. Refer to the airline’s website for details on their checked and carry-on baggage rules. Baggage allowances and charges are subject to change. We strongly recommend baggage insurance as China Experience does not assume any responsibility for loss or damage to baggage or passenger’s belongings. It is at passenger’s risk throughout the trip. For the most up-to-date requirements, please check with your air carrier prior to your flight.
REFUND FOR UNUSED OR CHANGED TOUR ARRANGEMENTS: Portions of land arrangements, hotel accommodations or any other service or feature of the tour which are not used, are neither refundable nor exchangeable. Travel Protection Insurance fee is nonrefundable. Refund claims must be made in writing through the agent from whom the tour has been purchased within 14 days of the termination of the tour. A written statement from the Tour Director or Local Guide certifying the exact services not rendered must be attached to this claim. China Experience is not obligated to guarantee promises (written or verbal) made by local hotel staff, tour guides, or any other persons not under direct employment of China Experience.
CUSTOMER SERVICE: Customer service issus must be submtted in writing and received no later than 14 days following return. Claims for refund of undelivred services must be accompanied by payment receipt(s) and local documentation. There will be no refunds for unused package tour services or features including missed transfers due to airline changes and/or missed flights, unused meals, missed sightseeing tours, unused entrance fees, and accommodations. Airline flight cancellations and delays are not the responsibilty of China Experience. Submit your claim direclty to the airline. Lost tickets have no refund value. These terms may not be changed by anyone other than an authorized representative of China Experience and must be documented in writing.
TOUR PRICE DOES NOT INCLUDE:
1. Government-imposed taxes and fees, of up to $120, including the Sept. 11th security fee, which apply
and are additional. These may change without notice.
3. Airline-imposed baggage fees.
4. Fees for delivery of tour documentation.
5. Cost of passport, visas, travel insurance; and all items of a personal nature.
6. Any fees incurred due to delays, changes or cancellations beyond China Experience's control.
7. The customary end-of-tour gratuity to the Tour Director, Local Guides, drivers, cruise staff, tips to restaurant, hotel waiters, chambermaids and porters.
8. U.S. domestic flights to Transpacific gateways. Domestic flights within China, depending on the tour program, are included in tour price. International and domestic air schedules are subject to change at any time. If you make your own flights arrangements, China Experience will not be responsible for any loss resulting from cancellations, delays, or changes in land or flight schedules.

RESPONSIBLITY: China Experience LLC (hereinafter China Experience) acts as a tour operator and agent. The suppliers that provide transportaion, conveyance or accommodations are independent contractors and are not agents or employees of China Experience. All tickets, coupons and receipts issued by China Experience and all arrangements for transport, conveyance or accommodations are made by China Experience as agent of the suppliers. By utilizing the services of suppliers, you agree that neither China Exerience nor any of its officers, directors, employees, subsidaries or affiliates shall be liable for any injury, damage, loss, accident or delay incurred by you or those traveling with you in connection with any accommodations, transportation, conveyance or other services of whatsoever nature resulting directly or indirectly from any acts or default of the suppliers or from any occurrence or condition, including but not limited to defects in vehicles or vessels, breakdown in equipment or the negligence of their operators. China Experience, its employees, officers, directors, subsidiaries or affiliates also shall not be liable for any injury, damage, loss, claim or accident resulting directly or indirectly (i) from delays, cancellations or changes in flights, itineraries, schedules, or other services of any nature whatsoever, (ii) from strikes, theft, sickness, weather, quarantine or any other cause of any nature whatsoever or (iii) from acts or omissions of any Government, its local subdivisions, bureaus or authorities.
All tour itineraries and fares may be affected by alterations or delays in air or surface transportation services of the various countries. China Experience reserves the right to withdraw any tour and to make such alterations in the itineraries which, in its sole discretion, it may find desirable for the convenience of the parties or the proper operation of the tour. China Experience reserves the right to decline to accept or to retain any person as a member of the tour party at any time. NOTE: All tour fares shown on this website are based on the value of foreign currencies in relation to the U.S. dollar in effect at the date of the posting on the website and on the tariffs, airfares, taxes and fuel surcharges as of that same date and are subject to change at any time to reflect those or other changes since the date of posting on the website. China Experiene reserves the right to cancel the tour prior to departure for any reason. In such case, a full refund of all payments will constitute full settlement with the passenger.
The airlines concerned are not held to be responsible for any act or event during the time the passengers are not on board their planes or conveyances. The passenger's contract in use by the airlines concerned, when issued, shall constitute the sole contract between the airlines and the purchaser of these tours and/or passenger with respect to that service. Any and/or all transportation companies shall have or shall incur no responsibility for or liability to any traveler aside from their liabilitity as common carriers. The carriers' international tariff are available for inspection and will govern all aspects of the air transportation.
The Terms and Conditions contained herein and set forth on the website, email or printed documents issued by China Experience, under which you agree to utilize the services of China Experience in arranging the tours, may not be amended in any way except in writing and signed by an authorized officer of China Experience. By utilizing the services of China Experience, you agree that the exclusive jurisdiction for all claims, directors, subsidiaries or affiliates shall be the State of New York and such claim, action or proceedings shall be determined according to the laws of the State of New York. You also agree that if you have a claim against China Experience, its employees, officers, directors, subsidiaries or affiliates, (i) that you will notifiy China Experience in writing of your claim as soon as possible and (ii) that if you choose to commence a law suit against China Experiences, its employees, officers, directors subsidiaries or affiliates, you will do so within one year from the date of the last day of the Tour on which your claim arose, failing which your claim against China Experience, its employees, officers, directors, subsidiaries or affiliates, will be forever barred.
